Tupelo, MS October 28, 2026 --(PR.com)-- The American Red Cross North Mississippi chapter has named attorney Missy Wigginton of Mama Justice – MW Law Firm the region's first-ever member of the Red Cross Tiffany Circle. Wigginton, widely known as “Mama Justice,” received the recognition Tuesday, October 20, during the chapter's annual meeting luncheon at the Tupelo Country Club.
Tiffany Circle membership recognizes women who support the Red Cross mission through leadership, volunteer service and philanthropic giving. Wigginton's support this year included serving as presenting sponsor of the chapter's Dine for Disaster event, which helps fund relief for North Mississippi families affected by disasters.
KC Grist, executive director of the North Mississippi chapter, credited Wigginton's hands-on commitment when presenting the honor. “She really has demonstrated what it means to lead through action,” Grist said.
“Being named North Mississippi's first Tiffany Circle member is an honor I share with every Red Cross volunteer who shows up when our neighbors are hurting,” said Wigginton. “At Mama Justice, we stand with families on their hardest days, and the Red Cross does that every single day, after a house fire, a storm or a medical emergency. I hope I'm the first of many. I'd love to see more women in our region join me in building a Tiffany Circle community right here at home.”
The luncheon also honored the chapter's volunteers, donors and partners. Over the past year they responded to severe winter weather, a hurricane and the house fires that displace local families almost daily.
The Tiffany Circle takes its name from a set of Tiffany stained-glass windows, installed in 1917, at Red Cross national headquarters in Washington, D.C. Today it counts more than 1,500 women around the world, whose combined giving has passed $282 million for disaster response, blood services, military families and international health programs.
For the circle's 20th anniversary, the Eli Lilly Foundation has pledged $10 million in matching funds. That match lets new members join with a $5,000 gift, with the foundation covering the balance.
Chapter leaders hope Wigginton's membership encourages other women in the region to join, building a local Tiffany Circle network focused on preparing communities before disaster strikes.
